On Thursday August 2nd, 2012 Dr. Dobb’s is having a virtual event for Developer-Based Testing. They have a very nice setup that makes it seem like your attending the conference without all the hassle of air-travel. You can login to the site, checkout booths, chat with vendors and other attendees, sit in on the sessions you want, and all the usual conference stuff.
I took part in one of the keynote panel discussions about static analysis, and I also did a session on getting “Real Value with Static Analysis”. I’ll be monitoring the Parasoft booth through-out the day, so feel free to stop by, check out a couple of sessions and ask question or just say Hi!
I can’t guarantee I’ll be there the during the whole session, but in particular I will be available for sure starting at about 9:30 AM Pacific and 10:45 Pacific. But give it a try, someone in the booth can track me down if necessary.
You can sign up for the session at this link – the conference is on August 2nd, 2012 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST. Note that much of the content is on-demand, so come and spend whatever time you have, no need to take the whole day.
From their invitation:
This virtual event will help developers examine developer-based testing of code in its many forms: the tools, the techniques, the best practices. Attendees will learn the subtleties of different approaches and the best practices that have worked best in the field. Connect with hundreds of developers by showcasing your testing solution as one of our sponsors.
Hope to “see” you there.
